Stephanie began practicing yoga when she moved to Charlotte in 2015, and immediately fell in love with the challenge and playfulness, as well as the mixture of mobility and stability, of a power yoga practice. As a chiropractor specializing in sports and rehabilitation, yoga became a part of everyday life, whether personally or through incorporating concepts or movements into rehab for patients.
After two years, she decided to make the leap and sign up for her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Y2 Yoga, which opened her mind to the mental and spiritual practice of yoga, as well as the physical side. This shift was empowering and has strengthened her personal practice.
Stephanie believes that yoga is for everybody, whether you are looking for exercise, a mental outlet, or functional movement to add as cross-training to enhance your athletic goals. In her classes, you can expect playful, core-centric sequencing and transitions with cueing to help yogis of any level of experience to find their most effective and empowering practice.
