Nicole’s yoga journey began back in 2007 while at college. She was a competitive dancer throughout high school but had to give it up after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. After her diagnosis, she thought yoga would be a good alternative to dance as it promoted creative movement, flexibility, and would be much kinder to her joints.


Over the next few years, Nicole would turn to yoga each time she suffered from a flare up. It was only after moving to Charlotte in 2012 that she realized yoga could be a lifestyle and not a lifeline. Yoga gave her the power to build strength and resiliency.


Having seen the positive impact yoga has had on her own life, Nicole felt inspired to share yoga with others. She completed the 200 hour Samdhaana Yoga training with Sara Cain de-Costa at Synergy Yoga in June of 2017. Nicole’s classes are filled with love, encouragement, and a little bit of laughter.
