About The Event

Assisting in a yoga class can be an incredibly powerful tool for helping your students embody the physical practice of yoga. Join us for us a one day hands-on assists training designed for yoga teachers looking to gain a deeper understanding on how to deliver safe, intelligent, meaningful assists. In this workshop, we will explore different approaches for assisting and how to physically and energetically work with students. Not only will you learn and experience assists, this training will help you attain more knowledge on the alignment of the poses.

We will learn to assist in poses such as:

Sun salutations, child’s pose, cat/cow, warrior 1-3, peaceful warrior, side angle, triangle, half moon, crescent lunge, revolved triangle, revolved half moon, hip openers, backbends, and savasana.

(i’m sure you can find a cooler way to list these LOL. I think less is more, people get the jist of the basic poses).

You will leave this workshop confident, empowered and with the skillset to assist your students through a safe and dynamic yoga class from beginning to end!

March 17th • 12pm-5pm
