Explore and understand the importance of meditation. Whether you are new or experienced, come learn about how meditation is beneficial and complementary to the asana practice of yoga. Meditation is an ancient practice used today to help with anxiety, stress, insomnia, and many other ailments. This class will include a 45 minute guided meditation as well as breath work.

Taught by: Amelia Alameno
Bio: Amelia has been practicing yoga for 6 years, and meditation for 4, on and off. With the past 2 years of consistent practice, she has found connecting with her breath, true emotion, and thoughts much easier. Meditation has brought a sense of calm to chaotic days, and no matter where she is it gives her a sense of home.
