About The Event
We ask you to join us as we regain awareness of our bodies and breath. The connection between these two pieces of us is so important for our daily lives as well as in our yoga practice yet it is often overlooked or skimmed by. A recent study was done showing that those who were more mindfully aware had better proprioception, where they were in space and interception, what's happening internally, which allows their perceived pain to be lower.
During our time together we will work through several different breathing techniques to both calm you down and wake you up. We will move our bodies to gain a better understanding of how to link breath to movement, and discuss why this is an essential part of the yoga practice. This workshop is for all levels, and it is recommended you bring something comfortable to sit on.
