Time & Location
About The Event
Arm Balance are among the most powerful group of yoga postures. When we use our hands like feet, we are literally turning our world upside down. This new perspective allows us to experience everything we know in a new way, typical and normal get pulled out from beneath us. Arm balances test our strength and resolve, requiring us to fortify a solid base for support. Learn the steps to stabilize, explore and advance in the fun but challenging world of arm balances!
Come lighten your heart and have fun practicing some of the more advanced yoga postures. This 3 hour workshop will include introduction (proper alignment and hands on adjustments to postures such as Bakasana(Crow), Parsva Bakasana (Side Crow), Eka Pada Koundinyasana (Flying Locus) and may more exciting and challenging arm-balances. Don’t quite have your arm-balances down yet? No worries, in this workshop we will also go over specific, yet simple, exercises that will target your same muscle fibers that are used in these transitions. You have your arm-balances down solid? Great!!! We will also be learning to float into Astavakrasana (Eight-Angle Pose) from Adho MukhaSvanasana (down-dog), as well as many more fun transitions.
Come float on your hands and turn your world upside down with us! NAMASTE!
