Cliff was first exposed to yoga while in undergraduate school at UNCC. He loved the relaxation and stretching he experienced while practicing Hatha yoga at the student center.
Cliff returned to yoga several years later to maintain flexibility while pursing mountain biking and weight lifting. After an injury while mountain biking, he returned to a weekly practice of yoga to help heal injured muscles and tendons. Cliff’s first true “yoga love” is Ashtanga and he has continued to practice Ashtanga based vinyasa flows.
After several years of an almost daily practice, Cliff attended teacher training at Yoga One in Charlotte and obtained his 200-hour teaching certificate. Cliff currently works part time as a counselor and part time as a yoga instructor.
Cliff continues to enjoy an almost daily practice of yoga, practicing vinyasa and power yoga, and teaches yoga classes in a variety of settings. Cliff strives to keep his classes fun, but also focused on teaching students the basic skills of a yoga flow.
